Ubuntu 9.04 and CFX

Tested ANSYS CFX (CFX-Pre, CFX Solver Manager, CFD-Post) versions 11.0 SP1 and 12.0.1 on Ubuntu 9.04 (32-bit and 64-bit), and everything looks like it runs fine.

(The CFX GUI uses Qt toolkit, which is also used for KDE.)

Please note thatÂ Ubuntu is not an officially supported distro for CFX.

Hello,

Beside of CFX version 11, you have installed on Ubuntu all modules of ANSYS 11 (inclusive Workbench)?

Do a search on this site for Ubuntu, and you’ll see that it works with ANSYS (not Workbench) as well as CFX. ICEM CFD is OK, too.
