CentOS 4.7 and Workbench
Installed Workbench 11.0 SP1 on CentOS 4.7, and everything (i.e., DesignModeler, Simulation) worked fine.
(I chose CentOS 4.7 since it’s similar to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4, the latter of which is official supported for Workbench 11.0 SP 1.)
I also tried CentOS 5.2, but I had some problems running Workbench 11.0 SP1.
Good morning,
I try to install Centos4.7 (necessary to run ANSYS 11), and I cannnot find a good image to download (dont apear a graphical mode like in Centos5.X). From this reason I want to buy an original DVD with CentOS4.7.
You ca tell send some shop when I can buy the dvd, or maybe some ftp adress from I can downloaded a good dvd image with version CENTOS4.7 ?
Thank you in advance for support.
Best regards.
1) For downloaded ISOs, after you download the image, *please* check the image by using “md5sum” program.” where is the md5sum file above to check if your downloaded ISO image is OK or not.
For example, in the site below:
http://styx.biochem.wfubmc.edu/mirror/CentOS/4.8/isos/i386/
Notice the “md5sum” (CDs) and “md5sum.dvd” (DVD).
Use “md5sum -c
2) From CentOS’s website, they list places where you can buy DVDs or CDs:
