I just wanted to write a little response to my comment to the post by mechanicaldesign.

I am using this site just as a way to jot thoughts or other ANSYS- (and Linux-) related topics outside of ansys.net. If you have items you’d like to share, feel free to register and create your own post. As long as the topic you want to share is remotely related to either ANSYS, CAE, CAD, or Linux, I welcome your contributions.

What I don’t want is blog.ansys.net to become a forum to request help in using ANSYS. I don’t mean to be rude, but there are other resources for that — your local ANSYS support office is the first place to turn to, and the XANSYS mailing list is a great way to interact with other users. There’s also an ANSYS bulletin board on CFD Online if you deal mostly with CFX or FLUENT.
