Ubuntu 9.04 and Workbench
The new version of Workbench on Linux won’t be released until version 12.1 or so.
To use Workbench 11.0 on Linux, one needs one of the supported distributions as noted in the ANSYS 11.0 Installation and Configuration Guide. I tried Ubuntu 9.04 but to no avail. Using the debugger shows that the libole32.so shared library in the the Mainsoft for UNIX and Linux (formerly known as MainWin) subdirectory doesn’t load properly.
In case you were curious about how to run workbench with the gdb debugger:
/ansys_inc/v110/aisol/workbench -cmd gdb /ansys_inc/v110/aisol/CommonFiles/linia32/ansyswb.exe
Good afternoon,
Can tell me please from where I can download the ANSYS 12 for linux (version for 32biti).
Best regards.
Download ANSYS 12.0 from the ANSYS Customer Portal.
